Did You hear Something

POP ?!

I am hoping it is the economy in Michigan. All reports are that the system is starting to move.  The bidding activity has improved in the last few weeks and I am hearing good news. There seems to be a lot of planning going on. Big plans for Schools , Hospitals, Airports, Stadiums and maybe even a Bridge.   We might just be on the COME BACK TRAIL !!!

Michigan will need a big push to ever recover to the stature it once was .  The first highway was built here and now we have the worst highways.  Might be that it will never recover to the elite level we once held .  Plenty of people have given up or were forced to leave .  They have moved to places where there are jobs.  The rest of the country has obtained workers trained and educated in Michigan at a bargain. Some retired early and moved to warmer climates.  The point is, they are gone and most will not return.  Our schools turn out great engineering minds , doctors, nurses, business scholars and many of them have moved to new homes in other states. We haven’t lost our institutions YET  and that means we remain a top pick for students.

I know one way to stimulate the economy is to replace/repair our infrastructure . We could all use the money saved on tires and repairs to make purchases to better our lives and further stimulate the economy.

As the weather improves we can all get outdoors, breath the fresh air and put something on the grill.
